Located about 3-3.5hrs North-East of Toronto off Hwy 127 southeast of Algonquin Park. Lake St. Peter is never as busy as Muskoka and Haliburton, and in my humble opinion, worth the drive because of that. The lots are 1 acre in size with many trees which allows for privacy. The cottage is near Lake St. Peter Provincial Park which is on most Ontario maps. Look to the east of Algonquin and follow Hwy 60 which traverses the park, Hwy 127 connects the Whitney area to Maynooth which sits on Hwy 62. If you are coming via Bancroft, The Shed in Bird's Creek is hard to miss, where the artists studio now stands and the outside is decorated with windmills, various wood carvings and other treasures. |
