I have to admit I am a loner, and in order to  qualify a place as secluded I would have to be somewhere where I could guarantee not seeing another soul (which is true of off season).

Due to my bias I would qualify the place as fairly private, in that I can see my neighbour through the trees on one side (a retired couple), and in the busier weekends in the summer some boats will pass on the lake.

Having said that, I have relaxed on a lounge chair middle August in the sun and seen very few people on the lake.
