One question I have been asked is whether the prov park is close enough to be a nuisance. 

I would have to say No. 

I once heard a fire side sing-a-long one evening in August, but far enough away that it was not intrusive.

In the 4 years I have owned the cottage I have enjoyed the park access in that the trails are close by, as well as area info. 

Due to the topopraphy, oddly enough the park beach and office is a 5 min walk by foot, but took me over an hour to get to by paddle  boat because of the peninsula I had to circle around!
